Who We Are
T6 is a high-performance, post-16 football academy launched in September 2022. As the first and only post-16 football academy partnered with Middlesbrough Football Club, we provide an elite environment where talented players train daily, compete against top-level opposition, coach others and study for academic qualifications at T6 Sixth Form.
Our coaching team brings extensive national and international professional football experience, featuring respected names such as Dave McTiernan, James Bridge, Josh Mitchell and Andy Campbell. Alongside rigorous football development, we offer a broad range of academic pathways, including A-levels and BTEC Level 3 courses, ensuring every player’s holistic growth.
A Proven Record of Excellence
Since our inception, T6 Football Academy has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s leading football academies outside the professional game. Competing at national league level, we have consistently demonstrated on-field success, securing multiple league titles and cup victories that reflect the high standards of our programme.
More significantly, our academy has become a recognised pathway for players progressing into professional and semi-professional football, underscoring the quality of our coaching, player development and clear progression routes into higher tiers of the sport.
We provide a sixth form experience that excites and enthuses post-16 students who are also exceptionally talented footballers.
Our staff and coaches will ensure you have everything you need to develop your fitness and skills at the same time as benefiting from T6’s proud academic tradition, with a structured pathway in place to give you the option of progressing into a football or sport-related career.
